Build the evidence packOne simple principle
A product family name cannot reveal the tightest turn, actual cleanable area, finish sensitivity, refill travel or operator routine. Capture those facts first. When a machine is trialled, hold the test boundary and method steady so the result can be inspected and repeated.
Theoretical coverage is working width multiplied by travel speed. It excludes setup, obstructions, edging, refilling, dumping and final care. Productive route output therefore needs measured utilisation rather than an unsupported headline percentage.
Three planning sheets
Record floor material and condition, cleanable area, joints, slopes, obstacles, narrowest door, turning envelope, lifts, storage, fill point, disposal point, pedestrian controls and available cleaning window.
A marked route plan with assumptions separated from measurements.
Define the test boundary, soil, pad or brush, solution, dwell time, travel speed and pass pattern. Track setup, active cleaning, refill or dump, edge work and final care as separate time buckets.
A repeatable method with acceptable result and stop criteria.
Attach the model identifier, current instructions, daily inspection, tank and squeegee care, consumable checks, storage practice, defect escalation and the date or trigger for an operational review.
An accountable routine, not an assumed maintenance promise.
Brief readiness
Each bar represents information completeness only. The percentage does not measure cleaning performance, product quality or suitability. A missing specialist requirement should stop the shortlist even when the general brief appears complete.
